German manufacturer SAX Power said its new flexible battery inverters range from 5.76 kWh to 17.28 kWh. It is suitable for new photovoltaic systems as well as retrofit projects.
The German company SAX Power has released an integrated battery inverter. It says it offers a simpler installation process.
This product uses lithium iron phosphate batteries with capacities ranging from 5.76 to 17.28 kWh. Suitable for new photovoltaic systems and retrofit installations. It can be plugged directly into a safe socket or connected via a cable to your home power supply.
SAX Power’s energy storage management system prevents solar energy from entering the public grid before the batteries are fully charged, and also prevents grid overload. Communication with the meter ensures that the battery provides only the power that the home needs.
SAX Power says the package includes all the necessary components, including a wall bracket with two security screws and a smart meter. The company offers a 10-year warranty on its battery solutions.
The company said field tests showed that the built-in inverter achieved 99% conversion efficiency. To ensure safe operation, cells are disconnected within 0.2 milliseconds after the memory safety voltage is removed.
