Standard & Poor’s ranks Ginlong Technology as the third largest inverter manufacturer in the world for the second year in a row. Solis currently has an annual production capacity of 40 GW and plans to double that to 80 GW by July 2023.
Last week, the company was awarded the Belgian Best Inverter Brand 2023 medal by the prestigious global market research organization EUPD, and most recently the Netherlands and South Africa received the same award. For the eighth year in a row, Solis has received EUPD recognition based on 100,000 interviews in over 50 countries.
Reflecting on the company’s performance for 2022 and beyond, Sandy Woodward, General Manager of Solis Europe and South Africa, said:
“I am delighted that Solis has achieved such a high ranking again and that we have maintained our position as the third largest inverter manufacturer in the world. I am particularly proud of the progress we have made in the field of inverters for energy storage in 2022, in which Solis achieves growth of more than up 500% year-over-year and accounts for 18% of our total operating income.”
Woodward attributes this rate of expansion to its team of over 4,500 people across all continents, as well as “our strong brand awareness, highly competitive distribution channels, and strong commitment to research and development.”
In 2022, the company’s R&D spending will increase by 74%, and the total investment will reach $45 million.
