What causes frequency inverter failure?

What causes frequency inverter failure?

news (1)

1.Corrosive air causes drive failure. Corrosive air exist in the workshops of some chemical manufacturers, which may be one of the causes of drive failure, as follows:
(1) Poor contact of switches and relays caused by corrosive air leads to converter failure.
(2) The converter failure is caused by the short circuit between crystals caused by corrosive air.
(3) The main circuit is short circuited due to terminal corrosion, which leads to converter failure.
(4)Inverter fault caused by short circuit between components due to circuit board corrosion.

2. Frequency converter failure caused by conductive dust such as metal. Such factors leading to converter failure mainly exist in production enterprises with large dust such as mines, cement processing and construction sites.
(1) Too much conductive dust such as metal will cause short circuit in the main circuit, which will lead to inverter failure.
(2) The temperature of the cooling fin is too high due to dust clogging, which leads to tripping and burning, leading to converter failure.

3.Frequency converter failure caused by condensation, moisture, moisture and high temperature. These factors leading to converter failure are mainly due to weather or special environment of the place of use.
(1) The gate pole is discolored due to moisture, resulting in poor contact, which leads to converter failure.
(2) The converter tripped due to overheating due to high temperature.
(3) The converter failure is caused by the sparking between the copper plates of the main circuit board due to moisture.
(4) Humidity causes electrical corrosion of the internal resistance of the frequency converter and wire breakage, which leads to frequency converter failure.
(5) There is condensation in the insulating paper, which causes the phenomenon of discharge breakdown, thus leading to converter failure.

4.The frequency converter fault caused by human factors is mainly caused by incorrect selection and parameter not adjusted to the optimal use state.
(1) Inaccurate type selection of frequency converter will cause overload of frequency converter, thus leading to frequency converter failure.
(2) The parameters are not adjusted to the optimal use state, so that the frequency converter often trips protection against over-current, over-voltage, etc., leading to premature aging of the frequency converter and failure.
